Consistently one of the most sought after Super Tuscan wines, this is a must for any cellar. Tig is considered to be one
of the best Italian wines and has racked up numerous awards of accolades with every vintage. This rich and spicy blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc should be cellared for two to ten years. A fine choice for grilled beef tenderloin.

Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore2004 Tuscany 325
The gorgeous 2004 Ornellaia is lively dark ruby, it is vibraneffort bursting with expressive aromatics and layered, welldelineated
fruit, showing much purity on the palate and closing with a long, finessed finish. A blend of 60% cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 12% cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.

Il Falcone ( castel Del Monte) Reserva 1999 2002 Puglia 65
Is named in the tribute to the 13th century emperor and humanist, frederick ll of Sawbia. He built the castle, castle del
Monte, that later gave this region its name. He was also renowned for hunting with a falcon,thus IL Falcone. The wine is blended of 70% Nero diTroia and 30% Montepulciano. It is aged for 12 months in french barriques and then a further year in the bottle before release. Enjoy its rich, ripe, balanced bouquet with braised meat or game dishes.

Gaja Siti Moresco Langhe 2005 120
One of the great innovators of Italian wine. Angelo Gaja is a huge fan of Nebbiolo, describing it as more like Marcello
Mastroianni than John Wayne. Nebbiolo “would never be in the center of a room. He is shy. He is a closed book. And women became beautiful beside him. This is the beauty of Nebbiolo”. With this spectacular wine, gaja combines 35%Nebbiolo with 355 Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Expect an elegant, balanced, age worthy wine (5-7 years) that can be enjoyed now with mature cheeses or rare cuts of meat.

Dievole (Vendemmia) Chianti Classico TUSCANY 2001,1999 60
After a few years in the wilderness, begining with the 2001 vintage Diovole has returned to form. This chianti classico
is well -fruited with supporting sweet herbs and sturdy structure supported by fine, firm tannins. Approachable now with rare leg of lamb, it will also mature gracefully for 3-5 years.

Offering aromas of black cherry, plum, leather and mushroom. It may be enjoyed with a variety of meats, particularly veal
tenderloin, or meat based pasta sauce.

Farnito Carpineto (Cab. Sauvignon) Tuscany 1999 97
Although the aromas carry more than a himt of bell pepper, this green element takes a back seat on the palate to rich
currant and earth flavours and just a hint of toasty oak. Firmly structured, with good grip on the finish. Drink now to 2010 score 89.

Cum Laude (Castello Banfi) Tuscany 1999,2003 82
The Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlo, Sangiovese and Syrah grapes are vinified and matured separately then aged for six
months in barriques. After undergoing acid-softening malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended and allowed to set for six months, then bottled-aged for an additional six months. Expect complex aromas of blackberry, cassis, cherry, plum and tobacco. This powerful, ripely-tannic wine is a good companion grilled meats or medium-aged cheeses.

Brunello Di Montalcino (Castello Banfi) TUSCANY 1997 150
This wine commands respect and is consistently one of the best of the region. Aromas of black cherry, truffle, plum, sage,

After Biodi-Santi, Fattoria dei Barfi is one of the oldest wineries in the Brunello region. They produce classic wines from
the great Sangiovese clone, Sangiovese Grosso. Their wines speak of the region like few others. Expect aromas of coffee, cherry, berry and plum and flavours that are fruity and tasty. Enjoy now with game birds.

Marchesi De' Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Brunello Di Montalcino 2002 Tuscany 120
This big Brunello is accustomed to receiving scores in the 90s from Wine Spectator. Released after three years of oak
cask ageing and at least six months in bottle, this full-bodied red delivers lovely aromas of currants and berries with notes of vanilla. Enjoy now with meat-based pastas or give it room to grow with 3-5 years in the cellar.

Carpinetto Chianti Classico Riserva Tuscany 1999 89
Smooth and seductive, with leather, graham cracker, and vanilla on the nose in addition to smoke and plum. The palate
shows modest spice accenting cherry, plum and chocolate. A well-rounde, tasty wine. The tannins are chewy, the feel is correct, and the grip is thight but forgiving. Score 90

The Pichierri family vineyards are located in the region of puglia. Her, the red soil is dotted by white limestone, ideal for

Tedeschi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico Azienda Agricola Fratelli Tedeschi(V 90
Amarone is a labour of love. The art of drying grapes creates in the finished wine sweet Port-like aromas
of chocolate and plum that are very inviting. In addition, it is loaded with delectable currant, cherry, spice and tobacco aromas and flavours. Medium full-bodied with a very long finish, it is ready to drink now on its own, with Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese or good dark chocolate. It will also reward 3-4 years in a cellar.

Masi Mazzano Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2001 180
The 2008 Gambero Rosso Italian wine guide awarded this Amarone its highest rating. Production for this wine
is very limited and its made only in the finest vintages. Cabernet Sauvignon is opaque purple in color. The nose delivers a splendid array of pain grille, smoke, pencil lead, espresso, and black currants. It makes a youthful entry on the palate with layers of black fruits, mouth-filling flavors, a plush texture, with plenty of ripe tannins to hold this big wine together. The finish is long and pure. The fermentation of this wine take place in an open oak vats, then a period of maturation in french oak for 18 months prior
to bottling. The nose and palate show an intense mixture of blackberries and spice combined with plum and anise overtones whllsy the finish is long and flavoursome, balanced with fine grape tannins.

John’s Blend Cabernet Sauvignon Longhorne Creek Australia 1999 110
Intense Red / purple in colour with a very powerful eucalypt / mint nose. Rich and youthful palate. A full bodied red with
firm tannins, a very long, lingering flavour of oak combined with the classic Langhorne Creek eucalypt and mint. At present quite tight and will certainly benefit from extended bottled maturation - 15 years plus.
